Frame it Special -Frame it Here

Caution to Do It Yourselfer's

Before you do any damage to the art or treasure Consult a Professional Framer.  Advice is FREE but damage is most often irreversible.   So often we see art that is folded, trimmed and crammed into the wrong size frames.  Some art forms require matting or spacers to keep it away from the glass.  Others need cleaning and varnishing but no glass.  Textiles need to be sewed or laced onto a board that is acid free.  No plywood, cardboard, or or Masonite should be used as backings on anything.  No scotch tape, duct tape, glues of any kind, electrical tape or packaging tape should ever be used for art.  Store bought frames are often to shallow for proper framing methods that may be required to preserve you art.

So come in or ask us on this forum for your FREE advice!
You will be glad you did.
